How different it is here in France compared to the UK. Very little emphasis is put on the Easter weeked, Maunday Thursday and Good Friday are just normal days, no hot cross buns out here! Monday is the most important day in the Christian Calendar and yes they do have that day as a holiday. As for Easter eggs, well there are some about but not a lot at all, just a few chocolate easter bunnies. And, you know, the children are not bothered at all as there isn't the hype going on.
Had friends round last night and we played Trivial Pursuit - 1st time in a long while. We had a great time and we girls won!! We have agreed that we will definitely do it again - it was a fun time.
